Stamford Museum To Receive Makeover
A big makeover in the works for the Stamford Museum and Nature Center. The "Advocate" reports a 37-million-dollar master plan has been presented to the city's Planning Board. The observatory and farm would be expanded, among other things. The museum is planning to raise about 30-million-dollars of the cost through private donations. The plan would be a phased-in project over two decades. The museum on Scofieldtown Road was founded in the mid-1930s.
