Foreclosures Up In Lower Fairfield County

Foreclosures in the Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk area were up in December. That, according to the web site First American Core Logic. It says the rate of foreclosures among outstanding mortgage loans in this area was up three-point-12 percent. That's an increase of a little more than one-and-a-half-percent. In addition, First American Core Logic reports the deliquency rate in lower Fairfield County was also up. Seven-point-62 percent of mortgage loans were delinquent by 90-days or more.
