The search is on for some missing guns in Stamford.  Police are looking for at least three suspects in the burglary in the city's Newfield section. The suspects are being sought in the Denise Drive burglary.  Possibly a half dozen rifles were reported stolen. The homeowner reported hearing noise prior to seeing the suspects take off.
Police say the getaway vehicle may have been a red Nissan Pathfinder.  While state police dogs were brought in to track the suspects, which they did, in back of Newfield School but the trail went cold. Those in the school were kept inside during the two hour search.
