WSTC / WNLK Supporting the MDA Summer Camp for Children
News Talk 1400 WSTC / 1350 WNLK is pulling out all the stops to fight for Jerry's Kids this weekend. Beginning Friday night at 6PM and concluding Sunday at 12 Noon. Both stations and their air personalities including Lisa Wexler, Sports Director Matt Levine and the Morning News' John LaBarca on his Italian House Party, will be donating air time to help raise money for a group of children, suffering from the 40 neromuscular diseases, to be able to attend a special one week summer camp located in Spring Valley New York.
The leader of the fund raising effort called Con-Neta-Kids is James Lacerenza, a highly active MDA volunteer who has been honored for his work in fighting the disease. Lacerenza feels that this camp is specially designed with the children in mind and allows them to be kids , doing fun things that they normally wouldn't always have the chance to do such as swimming and arts and crafts. Please join us in the fight against MD. Listen live beginning at 6pm Tonight on News Talk 1400 WSTC / 1350 WNLK. We appreciate any and all pledges to this highly important cause.
