A police investigation continues into a bank robbery on High Ridge Road late Tuesday afternoon. The suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. Police say the man was wearing a baseball cap and a fake black beard, when he entered the First County Bank demanded money, and made off with several thousand dollars in cash. The suspect then ran to a waiting black BMW, and drove away. Police Lt. Sean Cooney tells News 12 it is appearing even more likely the incident is connected to other similar ones in the region recently. Police urge anyone with information to contact authorities.
