Greenwich Mother Charged With Leaving Baby in Car

Gina Barrit was arrested Monday afternoon for leaving her 4 week old baby in her car. According to Greenwich police, she was charged with leaving a child unattended in a vehicle while she went into a bank on Greenwich Avenue.

Barrit arrived about 15 minutes after police were on the scene. She was later booked with the misdemeanor charge.
