Greenwich Cruise Death Update
More than two-thousand documents related to the disappearance of a Greenwich man from a cruise ship in the Mediterranean Sea are being released today. The FBI has approved the release of the documents related to the death of George Smith the Fourth, an incident that grabbed worldwide headlines. He apparently fell overboard while honeymooning with his new wife Jennifer Hagel-Smith on the Brilliance of the Seas cruise ship July 5th, 2005. The two had just spent a night drinking heavily before Smith disappeared. Smith's family believes foul play was involved, but nobody has been charged with any crime.
The widow, Jennifer Hagel - Smith says the FBI told her there was a 50 percent chance he was the victim of foul play. George Smith the Fourth disappeared somewhere between Greece and Turkey. His body has never been found.
