Duff and Blumenthal Pushing Bill to Protect Consumers Fallen on Tough Economic Times
Norwalk State Senator Bob Duff and Attorney General Richard Blumenthal are pushing a bill to protect consumers who have fallen on tough economic times.
Senator Duff, co-chair of the General Assembly's Banks Comittee, says they are urging Governor Rell to take quick action on the bill, that would protect consumers from foreclosure rescue and debt negotiating scammers. Before this important legislation, Duff says it was a lot like the Wild West.
Duff says the legislation will help many people all around the state.
