Nearly 20 thousand Connecticut residents are eligible for partial refunds from a heating company, after they were automatically re-enrolled in their capped pricing problem.

Attorney General Richard Blumenthal says the settlement involves Home Heating Partners, one of the state's largest home heating oil providers.

Blumenthal says the company has agreed to the refunds, and to stop automatically renewing contracts without consumer consent. Home Heating denies any wrongdoing.
