More than 500 cyclists were riding their bikes around Fairfield County Sunday for a very good cause. The National Mutiple Sclerosis Society - Connecticut Chapter held their 28th annual Bike MS at Sherwood Island in Westport. Chapter Communications Director Sean O'leary reported the best turnout ever; both from individual riders and teams sponsored by local companies. Riders participated in routes extending 60, 30 and 12 miles as well as a ride for the kids. A picnic was held at the end of the event to thank the riders for partitipating. Last year, the event raised $203,000. The goal for the chapters event this year is $230,000.
