Stamford Police Investigate Burglary and Attempted Break-In
Stamford Police are investigating one commercial burglary and another attempted break-in this week.
L.T. Sean Cooney says a couple of burglar alarms were activated late Tuesday night. Cooney says the first one happened at Pat's Diner on Jefferson Street, where police arrived to discover a broken window, but he says no entry was gained.
Cooney says this comes on the heels of another incident on Monday, where jewelry worth several thousands of dollars was stolen during a break-in at an apartment on Spruce Street. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
