According to the Norwalk Hour, Govenor Rell revealed a revised budget proposal unveiled by Govenor Rell which includes an additional $1,300,000 in spending cuts over two years. An approved budget would boost numerous state fees including bus and rail fares and close Norwalk superior court. House Republican Larry Cafero thinks Norwalk superior court can be kept open, saying budget savings can be found elsewhere. Cafero considers Rell's logic to close the Norwalk court because theres Stamford superior is only down the road, but is optimistic to keep it open due to the high volume of business and the people that are served in the Norwalk courthouse.
