New Canaan State Representative John Hetherington is pushing to bring emergency angioplasty to Norwalk Hospital. Hetherington testified this week on behalf of his constituents for approval of the Certificate of Need application. Hetherington says this is a very serious health issue, and that the time factor is critical when considering traffic congestion on Fairfield County highways. Hetherington says transportation of patients presents life-threatening delays.
