Less than two months after it was launched, officials say more than 800 state residents are now insured by Governor Rell's Charter Oak Health Plan.  It was touted as being the ideal plan for those too old for HUSKY but too young for Medicare.  It has been well-received for the most part, but Greenwich State Representative Lile Gibbons questions the required six-month waiting period for enrollees.

"What we're saying is 'we're not going to insure you in any way for six months'," Gibbons says.  "That's counter-productive to what our long-range planning is."

Officials though say the waiting period is needed to address provider concerns.
