Greenwich Homicide Victim Identified
Greenwich police have identified Thursday's homicide victim as 49-year old Alison McKnight Lombardi of Indian Pass Road. Officers found Lombardi in her neighbor's backyard, dead from gunshot and stab wounds. Under arrest is the neighbor, 75-year old Gerardo Lombardi of Nicholas Avenue who's also her former father-in-law. Police say there'd been an ongoing property dispute, where Alison wanted to build a fence separating the two properties which led to the violent confrontation in Gerardo's backyard. Alison also had a property interest in the Nicholas Avenue residence under the terms of her divorce. Gerardo was arraigned Friday on 1st degree murder and is due back in court September 26.
