An Expensive Battle Against the FAA
Over a million dollars has been spent on fighting the Federal Aviation Administation's plan to re-route airplanes over Fairfield County and the region to reduce flight delays.
The Alliance for Sensible Airspace is a 13 community group against the plan and they are now asking for public funding as the battle continues. The next meeting to discuss the case is September 15th at Wilton Library at 7:30PM.
Rudy Marconi, First Selectman of Ridgefield and Alliance Chairman, says that more money is needed because fighting the FAA is going up against, "The largest bureaucracy in the United States."
