The filing sites 100-200 creditors among those that the center owes money and the Advocate reports many of those are local Fairfield County businesses.

Representative William Tong spoke on behalf of the Stamford Legislative Delegation and said that he believes the move will allow the center to come back stronger than ever. The bankruptcy filing will allow the center to stay open while the reorganization takes place. Check their website for those shows that have survived the cuts.
