Priceline is moving forward with plans for the center in Wyoming, Michigan, a suburb of Grand Rapids.  It will provide support for customers who make hotel reservations.

"Spreading out corporate operations is healthy in the 21st Century," said company spokesman Brian Eck. "You diversify geographically because of the support grids that are in place, Eck said. 

Norwalk based priceline also received state and local incentives to bring the new call center to Michigan.
