An article in the "Financial Times" says Joe Lieberman is on the short-list to be John McCain's runningmate this fall.  The Connecticut Senator and Stamford resident is, like he has other times the VP subject came up, downplaying the idea.

"I'm very happy and priveleged to be a Senator from Connecticut.  It wasn't easy getting re-elected in 2006.  I don't believe anything else is going to happen," Lieberman says.  "Stories are stories."
