High Cost of Education is Hurting
Here's a tricky math problem for the start of the school year: Where can school districts subtract to keep costs under control?
The shaky economy and high fuel prices are squeezing many schools to the point where they are moving to four-day weeks. In addition, school lunches are getting more expensive in some places.
As the Connecticut state legislature meets on Friday, helping families deal with the coming heating seasons is just one of the items to be discussed. School lunch costs is a problem that will be addressed.
