The Greenwich Board of Selectman Thursday night will visit a resolution calling for the creation of a formal energy task force.  Selectwoman Lin Lavery headed the environmental task force which looked at ways the town could reduce energy usage.  The resolution would take it to the next level and create a formal group to address the energy situation.

"We want to do everything we can to conserve energy and put the 'green' in Greenwich so to speak," says Selectman Peter Crumbine.

It's possible the board won't actually vote on the resolution but Crumbine says there will at least be some discussion.
