While Jim Himes prepares to face Chris Shays, Kerry James, Press Secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, says the odds are against a win by the 20 Year republican incumbent. James says voters want change, and Himes' platform, which includes energy efficiency, reduced gas prices, as well as a responsible plan to bring U-S troops home from Iraq--resonates with the business community and working families alike. James adds that democrats are more mobilized than the GOP this year.
