Connecticut Commuter Rail Council Holding A Meeting Tonight
The meeting gives commuters a chance to voice concerns about Metro North rail service. Chairman Jim Cameron says although overcrowding is a major issue among riders, the available cars are older and in repair about 15 percent of the time. Cameron adds, there are no additional cars, so commuters will have to make do for the time being. Cameron says other issues include air conditioning on trains, and security concerns. The meeting is at 7:00 in the South Western Regional Planning Agency office at 888 Washington Boulevard in Stamford.
