Audit Ordered For Last Week's Primary
An audit has been ordered by the Secretary of the State on voting machines used in last week's primary elections.
Per state statute, ten percent of he precints should be audited. But Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz says she wanted 1/3 of the machines checked in anticipation of the record turnout at the polls for this fall's general election.
Bysiewicz says they will make sure each of the ballots was counted correctly by the machines.
