One more business has reached a successful negotiation with Stanley M. Seligson Properties over the proposed Waypointe mixed use redevelopment project to be located in the West Avenue area.

Casey's Sheet Metal at 4 Merwin street is the latest business to sell to the developer. Terms not disclosed although co-owner Nancy Esposito says that part of the agreement includes store relocation costs.

Casey's was part of a small group of remaining property owners who haven't sold to the developer looking for better deals. Recently Norwalk's Common Council gave permission to the city's redevelopment agency to directly participate in negotiations with the remaining property owners and Seligson.
