There have been reports from people who were subjected to a so-called "push poll"--in which a caller claims to be conducting an ooinion poll, but then attempts to influence the person being surveyed about a candidate or issue. Wilton State Representative Toni Boucher says it is up to the person receiving the call, to inquire about the caller.  Boucher is urging the public to be on the lookout for this sort of tactic, and ask any caller claiming to be conducting a poll for his or her name---as well as the poll's sponsor.
