(AP) _ Norwalk authorities say the death of a 93-year-old woman who was struck by a recycling truck this week has been ruled accidental.

Police say Stella Tuozzolo died Thursday after approaching the truck in her driveway, possibly to tip the driver.

The truck hit Tuozzolo as it pulled away. She died at the scene.

Police say the driver could not see the petite woman, who may have tried to cross in front of the truck in a blind spot not easily visible in its mirrors.

The truck's 43-year-old driver has not been charged.
