Better Wireless Service for Fairfield County Residents

Verizon Wireless has activated a new cell site that increases wireless voice and data capacity to Long Ridge Road, High Ridge Road, the Merritt Parkway in Stamford, and other  surrounding areas. Spokesman Rich Enright says it is not a tower, but an antenna on a rooftop.  Enright says Verizon has invested more than a $2 billion dollars regionally, into its New England Network, including nearly $300 million last year alone.
