Matt has been reporting sports as a member of the WSTC/WNLK news team since January 2002, and can be heard at :12 and :42 minutes past the hour, Monday through Friday, on both our morning and afternoon newscasts, along with complete coverage of all high school, amateur, and professional sports. Additionally, Matt has worked as announcer during the football season on our "Game of the Week," and can also be heard each Saturday afternoon from 1pm-2pm talking sports as host of the "Final Score." Matt is a graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, and a graduate of the Mitch Holthus' Sportscaster's Academy at Kansas State University. He started his career at KPHO CBS-TV Phoenix, and later became the Sports Director at KEUN/KJJB in Eunice, Louisiana. Locally, Matt worked at WGCH Greenwich, and Cablevision News 12. Matt's always been interested in local sports, especially since he is also a graduate of Stamford High School.
